Three questions a materials company cannot afford to answer slowly.

A substance is restricted. A batch fails. Production moves to a new machine, site or scale.

Each one is the same work underneath: read what the records already hold, run what can be run before anything is mixed or burned, and hand back the answer with the reason it holds. The same agents run this in production on coating lines today.

A laboratory bench of scientific instruments

A faster way to replace a banned ingredient.

The regulator budgets six and a half years for a substitution, and recent transition windows have run eighteen to thirty-six months. The candidate work is done before your lab mixes anything, so the replacement arrives scored against your spec and your chemists' weeks land on the trials that can win.

Sourced to the PFAS restriction dossier and the transition periods written into recent restrictions.

Bench A first: flash point and pot life test together. Candidate D is left unscored, not guessed.

Three weeks for the fracture mode. Days for the setting that drifted.

The batch failed, the lab said "consistent with thermal degradation", and it failed again anyway. Theorema Materials finds the setting that drifted in the records you already keep.

Two things moved together, so neither is proven yet. Across the 46 batches on record, adhesion tracks cure peak and not viscosity, and the oven ran to setpoint. The open question is whether the new lot shifted reactivity or the cure ran short: one DSC on retained material separates them.

What will not survive the move, before you spend the lot.

A recipe that ran for years on one machine gets copied, moved, or scaled up, and fails in a way nobody predicted. The pre-mortem lists what will not carry over.
